Mira Mesa High School Legacy Endowment Fundraisers by Fotility
The MMHS Legacy Endowment is managed by the MMHS Alumni Association, and it’s primary goal is to have a lasting and long-term impact on the Mira Mesa High School (MMHS) community by providing consistent and continual scholarship opportunities for MMHS students. Unlike short-term fundraisers where money is raised and immediately spent, the MMHS Legacy Endowment utlizes a more structured, long term approach to maximize donation values and ensure long term returns. ALL donations into the MMHS Legacy Endowment go into a fund that is managed by a licensed, Chartered Financial Analyst (“CFA”). Then, only a portion of the fund earnings are used for scholarships, allowing the compounding principal and interest to continue to grow and generate additional future scholarships, even with minimal to little fundraising efforts. Through this ‘work smarter, not harder’ approach, the MMHS Legacy Endowment will be able to provide guaranteed multiple, large scale scholarships to MMHS students, year after year.
